El protagonista, Baki Hanma, entrena enfocado en superar a su padre, Yujiro Hanma, el luchador más fuerte del mundo. Cinco de los presos más violentos y brutales, se reúnen para enfrentar a Baki. Su objetivo es probar la derrota.
